History
- Located in Lower Silesia, Szklary is the only significant nickel deposit in Poland. Underground mining at the site began late in the 19th century and transitioned to open-pit operations in the 1900s. Mining operations closed in 1983 due to uneconomic processing procedures and prevailing nickel pricing
- With significant remaining resource, Szklary remains one of Europe’s notable undeveloped nickel resources
- Rising demand for nickel as a strategic battery metal to support the electric vehicle sector and energy storage systems has renewed interest in developing Szklary.
- Advances in treating lower-grade saprolite have improved the potential economic viability of treating the lower-grade saprolite ore that could not be economically processed during historic operations
Opportunity
- Over 560 historical drill holes provide a strong foundation, with only minimal exploration needed to validate the resource.
- Current 2026 drill programme underway for a further 29 holes
- A mining-friendly jurisdiction with long industrial heritage

Development Strategy
- Conclude 2026 drill results and update all related geological data
